This high-definition animation video interprets 300 plus million years of geologic activities that resulted in the unique formations that occur at Arches National Park. The program was created using a variety of solid modeling and fractal terrain modeling programs to condense 300 million years into three minutes. The animation takes the viewer from a view of the earth and the formation of the North American continent down to the arch formation process and how they look today.
