A start up company came to us at its inception to help develop the company's total brand, culture, and strategy. Extensive research into their target markets highlighted several consistencies amongst competitors. After several discussions with the company's executives, we presented an approach that was diametrically opposite to the gray and dark blue conservative looks of the market and proposed a very vibrant and playful approach that would stand out in all areas of utilization. The bright orange and blue color scheme combined with the stylized porcupine became an instantly recognized player in the network security market. After two years Arxceo was acquired by a much larger company at a substantial profit - the new owner's number one requirement was to preserve the brand.
Why a porcupine? During our research we discovered that porcupines would occasionally place themselves in the opening of their burrows with their backside quills facing a predator to disguise their entrance and protect their young. This paralleled the unique approach that Arxceo's anti-reconnaissance technology used in disguising and protecting a network.
