U.S. ARMY SMDC

The “Eagle” booth concept was driven by three primary considerations: 1) improved presence on the show floor, 2) reduced costs in maintenance, operation, and storage, and 3) an open environment for presenter. The first and second requirements drove the selection of media and mediums involved in the fabrication of this display. Façade materials for the physical booth structure were selected for complementary color and texture as well as visual impact. A light grained birch wood laminate was selected to complement brushed aluminum and a black semi-glossed textured laminate. The color scheme is carried through the warm medium-light gray carpet and the use of clear plexiglass to complete the cutting-edge technology feel of the overall booth. Support structure materials were selected for light weight and durability resulting in reduced drayage costs. All structures were assembled in the largest possible sections to minimize set up handling and reduce staging time.
